Cropped to a circle, Neutral Mosaic turns its interlocking blocks into a pinwheel, the arrangement rotating around a pale rectangle at the center so a round tile rug holds its balance from every side of the room. Cream and ivory meet terracotta, golden ochre, and blush, some blocks combed into fine ribs and others sheared smooth, while the circle cuts the outer blocks into arcs that ease the geometry. A round anchors what sits above it, a pedestal table, a curved chair, a breakfast nook, without pushing corners into the walkway the way a rectangle does. Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile that lifts the carved ribs off the smooth facets. Made to order in any diameter and any of over 1,200 wool colors. Each piece is ready in 2 to 3 weeks and ships free worldwide, duties included.

New Zealand wool is naturally stain-resistant and springs back underfoot — footprints and furniture marks lift rather than settling in. It also takes dye deeply, which is what gives the colors their depth. Some initial shedding is normal and settles within the first few weeks. Why New Zealand wool →

Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with the beater bar set to the highest setting. If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull). Rotate periodically for even wear. Blot spills with a clean, white cloth (do not rub). Professional cleaning only. See our rug care guide for more tips.

Shipping: Tufted rugs are handmade to order and typically take 2–3 weeks to produce and dispatch. Once shipped, delivery takes 3–5 business days via DHL Express. We offer complimentary worldwide shipping on all rugs.

Returns: Rugs may be returned within 15 days of delivery. A restocking fee may apply. Read our return policy for full details.

Where a Round Tile Rug Sits Best

A round rug solves problems a rectangle creates. In a tight room it opens the floor, because there are no corners to box the space in or to catch a foot on the way past. Under a circular table it echoes the shape above rather than fighting it, and the rule of thumb is simple: allow a diameter wide enough that chairs stay on the pile when pulled out, usually several feet more than the table itself.

A blocked composition behaves differently in the round, too. Because the circle crops the outer blocks into arcs, the design loses its hard boundary and the eye is drawn inward to the center, which is why this shape suits a spot meant to gather people rather than direct them.

Hand-tufting is what keeps the geometry clean at a curved edge. The wool is set by hand rather than woven to a grid, so blocks can meet the circle at any angle and the ribbed and smooth facets hold their relief right to the border.
