A red rug like Poppy is rarely a background piece, so it works best when you let it lead. Set it under neutral seating, a tan or cream sofa, pale wood, a charcoal chair, and the red becomes the warm center the rest of the room organizes around. In a more colorful space, a solid red holds its own against blues and greens without clashing, since the field is uninterrupted and the tone stays true edge to edge. Because Poppy carries no pattern, scale is forgiving: a small piece warms an entryway or reading corner, while a larger field turns a living room into something genuinely inviting.
Hand-tufting is what gives the color its softness. Artisans in Bhadohi set New Zealand wool through a backing by hand, then shear it level so the surface reads as one even plane, which is exactly what a solid this saturated needs to look intentional rather than flat. See more in our Red Rugs collection. Every Jubi rug is made to order, so Poppy can be woven to the exact size your room calls for.
