Every piece is handwoven to your specification in premium New Zealand wool by master artisans in Bhadohi, India. Design Your Own Rug: How the Jubi Customizer Works

The Jubi online customizer lets you configure any eligible rug in three steps: choose the design, set the size, and select the color. Every combination is available to order — there's no minimum, no design approval process, and no back-and-forth before your order is placed. The customizer shows you what you're ordering before you confirm, and production begins once payment is received.

Every rug configured through the customizer is handwoven to order in premium New Zealand wool. This is not a print-on-demand product — it's the same handwoven construction as every piece in Jubi's ready-made collection, made to your specification rather than a standard configuration. The material, the artisan team, and the production ateliers in Bhadohi are the same. The difference is that the size and color are yours.

What You Can Customize

Size is the most common customization. Most buyers need a rug in a dimension that doesn't match standard catalog sizes — an 11-foot living room, a dining table that needs a 9x13 rather than a 9x12, a hallway runner in a non-standard length. The customizer accepts any dimension within the production range of each design and prices it automatically. You can also order standard sizes if you prefer — the customizer isn't only for unusual dimensions.

Color customization is available on eligible designs. The customizer shows available colorway options for each piece — some designs have a full palette of options, others have a curated set of available colors. If the color you need isn't available in the customizer, that's when bespoke is the right path: our studio can work with you to develop a specific color specification.

Production and Delivery

Because every customized rug is handwoven to order, production takes time. Standard custom sizes typically ship within 4–6 weeks of order confirmation. Every piece ships free, fully insured, to anywhere in the continental US. Lead times for particularly large or complex specifications may extend slightly — this is confirmed before you place your order.

When to Use the Customizer vs. Bespoke

The customizer is the right path when you're working with a design that already exists in Jubi's collection and you need it in a different size or an available color variant. It's fast, self-serve, and doesn't require a consultation. Bespoke is the right path when the design itself needs to change — when you need an original composition, an irregular or architectural shape, a specific color not available in the tool, or a commercial installation with requirements beyond a standard rug order.
