Light Brown Oval Hand-Tufted Wool Rug

A light brown round rug pools a warm sand tan into one circle, the color even from the center to the curved edge, with a soft golden cast that reads as sunlit sand. A round has no corners to align with the walls, so the shape draws the eye inward and settles whatever stands on it, and in this tan the circle reads more like a patch of warm floor than an object placed on top of one. Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, the rug is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile, dense enough to cushion a seat on the floor and soft enough to cross barefoot. Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with suction only (brushless head, no beater bar). If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull). Rugs ordered in standard sizes and colorways as shown on our product pages are eligible for return within 15 days of delivery in original condition. Rugs ordered with any customization are final sale.

Centering a Light Brown Round Rug in an Entry

Set a light brown round rug beneath a hall pendant and the two read as a pair, the circle on the floor answering the fixture above it. That is one way people use a round in an entry; another is to center it on the axis of the front door, so the first thing seen on arrival is a warm, even patch of tan.
