A teal textured wool rug, Sea Glass Strata moves between pale aqua and deep blue green in short strokes that all run the same way, with flecks of taupe surfacing here and there. The teal keeps changing: light strokes sit beside dark ones the way water changes over a sandy bottom, and the mix gathers and thins across the field.

Designed in New York and hand-tufted in Bhadohi, India, it is made from 100% New Zealand wool with a 0.75 inch pile, dense and cushioned underfoot. Sea Glass brings color to a room and stays easy to furnish around. It sits with pale oak, white walls, rattan, and brass, and deepens beside navy or charcoal, under a bed, a seating group, or a dining table. Made to order in the size your room needs.

New Zealand wool is naturally stain-resistant and springs back underfoot — footprints and furniture marks lift rather than settling in. Care: Shedding is normal and will lessen over time. Vacuum regularly with suction only (brushless head, no beater bar). If loose ends appear, clip with scissors (do not pull). Shipping: Tufted rugs are handmade to order and typically take 3–4 weeks to produce and dispatch. Once shipped, delivery takes 3–5 business days via DHL Express. We offer complimentary worldwide shipping on all rugs.

Can I customize the size or colors?

Yes. Every design is available in custom sizes and a curated range of wool colorways through our online customizer, or contact our studio for exact dimensions and access to more than 3,000 wool colors.

When will my rug ship?

Each rug is made to order. Hand-tufted rugs take 3–4 weeks to make, then ship free in about a week.

What is the return policy?

Rugs ordered in standard sizes and colorways as shown on our product pages are eligible for return within 15 days of delivery in original condition. Rugs ordered with any customization are final sale.

Are shipping and duties included?

Yes. All rugs ship free worldwide with all duties and tariffs included.

How will my rug arrive?

Your rug ships rolled and wrapped, free worldwide with duties included. Occasionally a large rug going overseas has to ship folded to meet carrier size limits. Any creases relax within a few days of laying it flat.

Will my rug look exactly like the photos?

Every rug is handmade, so slight variations in color and texture are natural. Screen settings can also affect how colors appear. Order a sample to see the color and feel the wool in your space.

Bringing Color In With a Teal Textured Wool Rug

The floor is the largest surface most people ever choose a color for, which is why a rug is a good place to commit to one. A teal textured wool rug softens that commitment. On Sea Glass Strata the teal is broken into strokes of pale aqua and deep blue green, with flecks of taupe between them, so the color carries depth and keeps the eye moving.

Teal sits between blue and green, and it borrows the good manners of both.
